Alyssa is a speaker and psychotherapist, treating adults and adolescents with trauma and eating disorders out of her independent practice in NJ, accompanied by her therapy dog, Noel. Many of her speaking engagements are centered around the long-term physical and emotional impacts of trauma, as well as the hope that comes with making the decision to seek treatment. Alyssa is a trauma survivor herself, and has made it her passion in life to help others on their road to recovery from trauma. In addition to her practice, Alyssa is also the host of the Light After Trauma podcast, which is meant to be an informative, inspirational, and safe space for those looking for support and connection as they navigate the difficult, yet extremely rewarding journey of recovery --
